It is the process of using scientific knowledge for collecting, analyzing, and presenting evident to the courts. Forensics deals primarily with the recovery and analysis of latent evidence. Latent evidence can take many forms. From finger prints to DNA evidence recovered from blood stains to the files on a hard drive. This is a discipline that combines elements of law and computer science to collect and analyze data from computer systems, networks, and wireless communications and storage devices in a way that is admissible as evidence in a court of law.

Is it true if an Investigator collects evidence of a spouse cheating and a divorce is granted we can recoup the costs of the investigation?

Yes, we have seen some courts order the spouse at fault to reimburse the other for the investigation costs. We advise you to ask your Attorney to request this in a divorce case.
